Prenatal and Women’s Yoga is open to women at all stages of life, but is taught in a way that is safe and supportive to women who are at any stage of pregnancy.
This class emphasizes the connection between the body and the mind. It’s essentially a meditation in motion using breath, focus and movement to cultivate a more peaceful mind as well as a healthier body. The poses offered are accessible and simple and are intended to strengthen and lengthen the body. You will be invited to work at your own pace, either slowing down or speeding up the movements to your liking. As we work through the physical poses, we will also consider how the skills we cultivate on the mat can be incorporated into our day to day life in order to relieve stress, develop better relationships, and live a happy and peaceful life.
