About me
Meg is a Certified Holistic Nutritionist that specializes in postpartum care. She believes that by blending traditional ways with modern-day science, we can create a postpartum that honors the individual’s path to wellness. Meg is the founder of Small Batch Wellness, Purposeful Nourishment, and The Postpartum Kitchen. She had been nourishing new families locally and virtually since 2015 working to meet the ever changing needs of modern day families.

She offers private postpartum Nourishment + Nutrition Sessions for Flourish Fund families as well as Nourishment Gift Boxes geared towards fueling the postpartum body.

My approach + promise to you:

My approach is flexible, versatile and anti inflammatory. I believe that we can blend traditional ways with evidenced-based science to create a postpartum that honors the individual’s path to wellness. In general, my approach is food and plant medicine first before discussing supplements. While I do make recommendations for supplements, I do not sell supplements.

Your lived experience matters.

I do not come into these meetings with my agenda, protocol, or set of supplements. Normal bodies don't spring back - normal bodies take time to heal. Normal healthy bodies come in all shapes and sizes. Autonomy is important in all things. Restrictive eating &/or shame around eating often takes a front seat in the postpartum. We don't need to take on more stuff and adding fear to food is the LAST thing anyone needs to take on.

Topics we might cover:

Pillars of Care, Rituals of Care, Universal Needs for Healing
Discuss changes in the body that make the early postpartum days unique.
How to build blood, balance hormones, and fortify the microbiome
Foods to favor + Foods to limit or avoid
Ideal First Foods after Delivery

How it works:

We have a quick, non-committal chat to get to know each other a bit. During this chat we will discuss you, your pregnancy and postpartum, as well as your hopes and needs around nutrition and nourishment. We will also discuss and make an estimate of the number of sessions recommended. I offer single sessions and package options depending on your needs.

Single Session:
One single session is a great way to get a deeper understanding of the postpartum body and how to nourish and replete it. We touch on many subjects for about 90 minutes. You’ll also receive Beyond Bone Broth: Essential Recipes for the Early Postpartum.

Follow Up Sessions:
One single session can easily turn into multiple sessions. These sessions tend to be about 45-60 minutes where we address ongoing concerns and cover a lot of ground. The changes in the postpartum can be profound and we often need to adapt our plans to ensure you are receiving the robust care you deserve.
