Birth Doula Care | As a fully committed member of your birth team, we meet (two)times prenatally, an hour each time, to review all aspects of your birth and how to prepare mentally and physically. Two weeks before and two weeks after your Estimated Due Date, I am on-call and available to you 24-7 as we wait for babies arrival. Once you are in early labor, I join you at your home or hospital. I am supporting you and your partner through the entire birthing process, labor and delivery. As your birth doula, I stay by your side until at least two hours after baby has been born to ensure that you receive all of the care you need. During labor, I am helping you position your body in an ideal way for the particular placement of your babe, I am educating you on labor progress, interventions, and medical care. I am supporting your partner to make sure they are getting water, food, and rest when needed. As a team we are working with you to increase your sense of power and limit any feelings of inadequacy or fear. Herbal tea and soft foods can be delivered to you as needed. The day after baby is born when I arrive for the follow up visit and a second post-birth visit a week after baby's arrival. | $ 10 | Per Package |

Ayurvedic Post birth Doula Care | Prenatally, we will meet twice before the baby is born to review the optimal layout of the home for easier care, discuss feeding methods, comfort measures, review family roles and goals, partner expectations and planning family visits. We also schedule how often you would like to have a post birth doula and for what length of time. Families tend to get the most benefit from a post birth doula who cares for them and their family for at least three months. Once baby has arrived, I drop off herbal tea, herbal sitz bath, lactation cookies and a soft, easy to digest meal for the family. We establish a feeding ritual, make sure new parents have all of the tools they need to feed; bottle or breast. Perineum care and cesarean care are provided based on new parent's needs. Post birth doula services are $35 an hour and must be a minimum of 4 hours each day. Learn how body anatomy changes during pregnancy and how you can move the body to best prepare for different stages of labor.
