About me
My name is Bianca Paredes and I am a birth doula who serves Rhode Island + Connecticut locally, as well as provides virtual services to those throughout the country, I have been a full time doula since 2018.

For those asking, what is a birth doula? A birth doula is a trained professional who provides emotional, physical and educational support to those navigating pregnancy, birth and the immediate postpartum period. My intention as your doula is to empower, educate and support both you and your partner (if applicable) on your path to bringing your baby earth-side. I support a wide range of births in hospital, birth center and home birth settings. My goal is to provide one on one support and guidance based on your indiviual circumstances and wishes, while being your advocate and cheerleader.

It is always your birth, your way.
“Birth is not only about making babies. Birth is also about making mothers - strong, competent, capable mothers who trust themselves and know their inner strength.”
— Barbara Katz Rothman

For virtual doula services I offer a free 30 minute video or phone consultation.
