This class runs Wednesday's from 7pm-9pm for 4 weeks on Zoom. GentleBirth Workshops provide expectant people and partners easy to learn brain training techniques including Mindfulness, ... moreCBT and the neuroscience around pain, Sports Psychology, Medical Hypnosis and the physiology of birth, along with tools, information and techniques to prepare for the most positive birth possible. Unlike hospital workshops I will ensure you understand your options for navigating your birth preferences in the hospital system. Most importantly, we will be learning all advanced comfort measures, like birth ball, TENS, acupressure and more in order to have a full toolkit of comfort strategies.

Dress comfortably to Zoom, as we will be trying a lot of these comfort measures. If you have an exercise ball, massage tools, a rolling pin, and a long non-stretchy scarf we will need those for certain sessions. Enrollment includes the live Zoom 4 week class, access to additional online educational materials and 30 days app access.

FAQ's:

***What are your COVID-19 policies?
We are a vaccine-only studio. All Mama's must show one-time proof of a full COVID-19 vaccination. Masks are required if you have not received your COVID-19 booster vaccination. Class is limited to (4) Mama's so ample distancing is provided. We have two air filtration systems that constantly run and all mats/equipment are sanitized before and after class.
***What can I expect during the movement portion?
Full body focus: arms, back, legs, glutes and a little bit of core. Core work will be safe for all stages of postpartum
***Speed of class: Nothing too crazy, I promise! While we will be pumping some good jams, it’s important for us to be able to intentionally connect to the movements and what parts of the body we’re working.
***What if my baby is fussy or needs to be fed?
Then take care of baby! We’ll all be in the same boat (including myself…Mr. Jude will be there, too!). Do what you can for movement because anything is better than nothing. And it’ll just feel good to be out and about with other Mama’s, so if you need to stop and tend to baby, then do just that!
